Hygge Homes has been about the “big picture.” We’ve spent our days helping you build sustainable lives from the ground up, whether that was through custom van conversions, cozy home renovations, or interior design that turned a house into a sanctuary.
We’ve loved every minute of the “sawdust and dirt” builds and the coffee-fueled design sessions. But if there is one thing the concept of Hygge has taught us, it’s the importance of presence—recognising when it’s time to slow down, pivot, and pour your heart into something new.
We are excited to announce that Hygge Homes is entering a new chapter.
We are hitting “pause” on our van build services to focus on a more intimate, hand-crafted direction. We’re moving away from building the structures themselves and toward creating the beautiful, functional pieces that live within them.
Welcoming Alannah to the Team
As we move into this hand-crafted world, we knew we needed the right hands to help shape it. We are thrilled to announce that Alannah is joining the Hygge Homes family.
Alannah brings a fresh creative energy and a shared passion for the “slow living” philosophy. Her expertise will be instrumental as we transition from a service-based model to a fully-fledged ecommerce store, curated with items designed to bring warmth, comfort, and sustainability into your daily routine.

Soon, you’ll notice our digital home transforming. This shop will be a collection of goods—the soul of our builds, distilled into beautiful objects you can hold in your hands. Think of it as a curated sanctuary of craft, right here at your fingertips.
What does this mean for future projects?
While we are not taking on new van builds and major projects for now, we are always happy to chat about your needs. The van life community is close to our heart, event if we are not currently actively involved. For now, we are dedicating our collective energy to this transition and the launch of our new store.
